About Uganda International Fashion Week More Than a Fashion Week, a Platform for Opportunity Uganda International Fashion Week (UIFW) is Africa’s premier fashion platform championing “The Business Behind Fashion.” We leverage the visibility and influence of fashion to drive skills development, job creation, enterprise growth, and the economic empowerment of women, girls, and youth. For over two decades, UIFW has connected designers, creatives, and industry professionals to markets, buyers, and global opportunities.

Today, our work goes beyond showcasing fashion. We are building a dynamic ecosystem that supports creatives to develop their skills, structure their businesses, and build sustainable livelihoods within the creative economy. UIFW believes that fashion is more than artistic expression, it is a powerful engine for entrepreneurship, employment, and inclusive economic growth.
